ArjFolder has been tested in all versions of Windows 95, 98, NT 4.0 and NT 2000 (Beta 3). This test has been performed with ARJ 2.60x and ARJ 3.03. copyright to 1990-99 ARJ Software, Robert and Susan Jung. ARJ is not include in this package but if you want to have the full functionality of ArjFolder you can download it at : http://www.arjsoftware.com This software has been checked against all known viruses at this day. The only guarantee you get with this version of ArjFolder, either expressed or implied, is that ArjFolder will take up a certain number of bytes on a hard disk drive. The integrity of the data on your hard disk is your responsibility, not mine. However, the functionality of this program has been tested to the best of my ability, I can take no responsibility for the loss or damage of your data, although all reasonable precautions have been taken to insure the stability and safety of this program. 2) Fonctionnement ----------------------------- This software is based on the namespace and shell extension of all the version of Windows 95, 98, NT 4.0 and NT 2000. You can make, read, uncompress ZIP and ARJ files. ArjFolder supports long filenames, file protection and multi-volumes for ARJ, RAR and ACE files. ArjFolder also uncompress GZip, TGZ, TAR, CAB, RAR, ACE and Unix Compress (.Z) archive. The two ways to extract are the pop-up menu and the Drag and Drop. Because ArjFolder is an extension of Window Explorer the functionality of Drag and Drop are enhanced if you have installed the last version of Windows (IE 4.0 and more with Active Desktop or Windows 98) 3) Uninstalling ArjFolder ------------------------------------ * Open the control panel. On the Start Menu, choose Settings->Control Panel. * Open "Add/Remove Programs".
