Voodoo3 2000 or 3000 AGP/PCI-based Accelerator 
Correct version of DirectX for kit downloaded

Download and Installation Instructions

1. Identify the driver kit you wish to download.


Direct 6 Users

Download the kit labeled "Voodoo3 2000/3000 Win9x DirectX 6 Retail Drivers - AGP/PCI Boards Version: 1.03.00"


Direct 7 Users

Download the latest DirectX 7 runtime from Microsoft. 
Install DirectX 7 
Download the kit labeled "Voodoo3 2000/3000 Win9x DirectX 7 Retail Drivers - AGP/PCI Boards Version: 1.03.00" 

2. Locate and run the file you downloaded by choosing the Run option in the Start menu. (You need to point to the location your Web browser saved the file in.) Extract the files to a location on your hard drive. See the README.TXT file for information on installing the driver. 

NOTE: These drivers will NOT work with: Voodoo Banshee, Voodoo2, Voodoo Rush or Voodoo Graphics based cards. These drivers are not compatible with Voodoo3 3500TV. Installing these drivers with a 3500TV board may cause compatibility problems. 



All 3dfx drivers are subject to the 3dfx software license agreement.
