Name Completion

Zoom Shell will attempt to complete file and directory names for you. Just type in part of the file or directory name, and press <esc>. Zoom Shell will attempt to complete the directory or filename, or it will give you a list of alternatives. If part of your directory or file name has a space, put a double quote at the beginning (the cd command needs no double quote):

cd c:\progr (press <esc>) cd c:\Program Files\

word "c:\my (press <esc>) word "c:\My Docs\

word "c:\My Docs\lett (press <esc>) word "c:\My Docs\Letter Home.doc"

Zoom Shell can also automatically guess directory and file names, as Internet Explorer Version 4 does. That option can be turned on or off from the menu. If you enable Zoom Shell's guessing feature and find that typing is slow or jerky, you may wish to turn it off.
