 Pegasus Mail is a full-featured email client that offers special support for Novell networks. It can be used on a NetWare network with virtually no setup. It reads the bindery to obtain user information, eliminating the need to set up users and mail directories. As a standalone application, it can transfer Internet mail via TCP/IP Winsock through a POP3 server. On a network, it can forward Internet mail through a gateway. Full MHS and SMTP support is offered, along with notice boards, which can be used as public message areas on a LAN. Features include distribution lists, carbon and blind carbon copies, a built-in spelling checker, message template support, hierarchical mail folders for sorting and saving mail, an address book, a mail filtering feature, a user list feature for finding NetWare user names, encryption, full MAPI support, IMAP4 protocol support, sort and search, and support for up to 64 attachments per email. Very easy to use and well documented, Pegasus Mail is one of the most comprehensive email programs available, and -- best of all -- it's free! A 16-bit version of Pegasus Mail is also available.
