 If you're a real Chess enthusiast, you'll find a lot to like about Chessvision. Using its powerful Chess database system, you can play against several engines simultaneously or use them for analysis. Create your own desktops containing Chess boards and information windows. By using the "Positions tree of databases" view, even a beginner can play like a grandmaster from the opening to far into the middle of the game. The program also offers full support for all Internet Chess servers, so you can play live opponents over the Net. Although the interface might be a little intimidating at first, it won't be long before you'll appreciate Chessvision's rich feature set. This free version won't let you store new games but is otherwise a complete working edition, with several position-based game and opening databases included.
