Netscape Communicators Instructions

In most cases the browser settings for Netscape will be automatically adjusted upon system restart. You may close this window and restart your system. Test the new settings by entering the Webcelerator "Settings" window after restart and pressing "Test." If the configuration fails again and you return to this window, use the following instructions.



  1. Click on the EDIT menu button and select "Preferences."

  2. In the left "Category" panel, double-click the word "Advanced", then select "Proxies." On the right panel, check the "Manual Proxy Connection" option. Next, press "View."

  3. Make an HTTP proxy address setting of 127.0.0.1 and port number 24491.

  4. You may make a Self Test of Webcelerator at any time by right-clicking the Webcelerator icon in the System Tray, select Settings and click on the Test button.
