Lighting

You can use the lighting function to alter the brightness, contrast and colours of your pictures.

Buttons: Click on a button to preview the effect. From left to right they are brightness, contrast and colour. Note that which colour is changed when you click the colour button depends on which colour is selected from the options to the right of the colour button.

Slider: This sets the factor by which the chosen effect is to by applied. The smaller the factor, the smaller the effect.

Pictures: The middle picture is what the picture currently looks like with the effects you have applied. The pictures to the left and right are the previews of the effect. The one to the left is less and to the right is more. So if you are applying brightness, the left is darker, the right is brighter. When you are happy with the effect you have applied, click on one of the preview pictures and it will be moved to the centre picture. You can now apply effects to this picture.

Save/Save As: When you are finished applying effects to the picture, you must choose either SAVE or SAVE AS to have the effects applied to the full size picture. SAVE overwrites the original picture, while SAVE AS allows you to select a filename. The new picture is then added at the end of the album.
