Organizational Structure of Museum
Organizational structure of the Museum includes two basic
sections carrying out main tasks of the institution. The
first of them is oriented to collecting and investigation
activities and is headed by the deputy director for
documentation and history of technology. The second is
oriented on exhibition, programme, promotional and editing
activities and includes also economic management of the
institution. This section includes also the building
administration, workshops and conservatory laboratories.
This section is headed by the statutory deputy director.
The first section is further divided into the department of
history of technology and museology, the department of
central filing of collections, multimedia studio and 12 individual collection departments:

- Chemistry and Food Industry
- Mining and Metallurgy
- Mechanical Engineering and Consumer Industry
- Electric Engineering
- Acoustics
- Transport
- Photography - Cinematography
- Architecture and Civil Engineering
- Industrial Design
The collection departments cover the main fields of
technology and gather corresponding funds in the total of
