National Technical Museum, October 20 - 23, 1996
The National Technical Museum was the initiator of the filing of the 200th anniversary of the invention of litography to the UNESCO List of International Cultural Events 1996.
Under supporting of UNESCO and the Czech committee of ICOM was organised in the National Technical Museum in Prague International Symposium devoted to the two hundred years of the developing of this polygraphy technology.
The co-operate partners of the National Technical Museum in the organizing of this symposium were National Gallery in Prague, Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague and National Museum in Prague.
In the symposium have token part about 50 experts from the Czech Republic as well as abroad (Denmark, France and Austria). The themes of the lectures were development and diversification of the litography technologie und its use in the various applications fields.
