Activities of Svatopluk Kral (1926) in the field of design of machine tools, in which he was engaged from 1946 to the early 90s, are represented in the collections by photographic documentation comparing old and new shapes of machines designed by him. A paper model of lathe from the early 50s has been preserved that was made in early stages of development of new machine after consultations with engineers. He created a futurological model of a machine tool from 1973 and a robotized machining centre from 1985. Since the 90s, he has been intensively and successfully working on design of children toys with orientation on mentally and physically handicapped children. He is a professor at the Private School of Master Design in Prague, field of toys.
