Most exhibits of this collection were donated by the Empire Governor's Office (Department of bridges in Prague), Institute of Bridge Engineering at the Czech Technical University and Ministry of Technology. In addition to competition designs of Jirasek, Trojsky, Libensky, Nuselsky and other bridges in Prague the collection contains archival documents related to bridges no more existing (e.g. chain upperbridge at Rudolfinum and chain bridges of Franz I and Franz Josef in Prague as well as out of Prague). The depositories contain i.a. large models of chain bridges, steel bridge in Mirovice, Zdakovsky and Podolsky bridges, and wooden models of upperbridges from 1853.
