Roof trusses

The collection comprises models and plans of both classical wooden roof trusses of different types (German and Italian styles) and roof structures of remarkable buildings (e.g. National Museum, cathedral of St. Vitus at the Prague castle, Powder Tower, church at Karlov, belfry at the church of St. Jindrich). The firm Nekvasil donated a model of the roof truss of the Cernin palace and a part of original structure. Models of roof trusses of Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque towers come from master carpenter workshops.
