The automobile NW President is the oldest road motor vehicle
factory-made on the territory of the Czech Republic. Its
production in the Koprivnice car factory, later known as car
factory Tatra, started in May 1898. The first journey of the
new car was directed to Vienna where it was displayed at the
exhibition to the anniversary of reign of the Emperor
Franz Joseph I. After the exhibition the producer
presented the car to the newly established Austrian
Automobile Club where it was used as an instruction car. In
1918 it returned to the territory of Czechoslovakia and
became a founding stone of the collection of the National
Technical Museum.

Passenger car with a liquid-cooled four-stroke two-cylinder
engine mounted in the rear part and with rear driven wheels.
Swept volume of engine 2714 cm3, power 7 HP, maximum speed
25 km/h.
