Pathefons are mechanical gramophones produced by the French firm Pathe in the first quarter of the 20th century. It differs from usual mechanical gramophones mainly by using a vertical sound recording (used in phonographs) instead of a lateral recording usual in other gramophones. A record was played from its centre with the speed of 90 r.p.m. The collection contains three types of the series Pathefon- Reflex.
