The space model depicts the area of iron works in Novy Jachymov erected at the time of starting the industrial revolution in 1819. It was judged by contemporary experts as a plant with the most purposeful outfit in the then Austrian monarchy. The engineering equipment had been designed by the director of Prague Technical University F.J.Gerstner and among its technological priorities belonged, for instance, double blast furnace for casting heavy cast pieces and the first application of steam engine in Czech metallurgical works in 1832. The plant was dissolved in the times of retreat of feudal charcoal-fired iron metallurgy in 1875.
