Erasmus Habermel

Habermel belongs to excellent mechanicians of the turn of 16th and 17th centuries. He held a post of the court mechanician of the Emperor Rudolf II, probably from 1576 to 1606. He also worked for distinguished personalities, such as Vilem and Petr Vok of Rozmberk, Frantisek of Paduansky of Forli, personal physician to Rudolf II, and others.
