At the occasion of the 90. anniversary of the founding of the Museum, on September 28. 1998, will be opened a new permanent exhibition about the development of telecommunication technology. The exhibition introduces the visitors not only to the history of the transmitting of information, but also to its present state and the perspectives of this area. The historical part will present exhibits from our own collections fund, about the representation of the most modern instruments is NTM negotiating with their producers and suppliers and is open to further incentives. The exhibition will be animated by a number of interactive requisites, where the visitors themselves can try out the basic principles, utilized in telecommunication. Also one part will be an animated television studio and staged telegraph and radiotelegraph workplaces.
The overall costs for the production of the exhibition reach approx. 4.7 mil. Czech crowns.
