RegView - "How to Use RegView"

File:

• Print Setup:

Change printer properties.

• Restore RegView Registry Files*:

Restore the registry changes by using RegView Regsitry files.

• Redo RegView Registry Files*:

Redo the registry changes by using RegView Regsitry files.

*Note: RegView Registry Files: Since Win95 "*.reg" file's architect lacks of the ability to remove registry key or value. So RegView create a new "*.rrg" and "*.drg" file structure to add this ability. "Restore Save" and "Redo Save" will save "Added, Changed and Deleted" registry info as well. Then you can use "Restore RegView Registry Files" or "Redo RegView Registry Files" (under "File" menu) to restore or redo registry changes including "delete" registry entries as well.

Edit:

• Copy Key Name:

Copy select key name to ClipBoard.

• Search:

Search any registry key or value which contains the specified strings

• Search & Delete:

Search any registry key or value which contains the specified strings and then allow to delete those found keys or values

• Search & Replace:

Search any registry key or value which contains the specified string and then allow to replace those found keys or values with a pre-defined replacement string

View:

• Large Icon:

Show Value and Data in Large Icon

• Small Icon:

  Show Value and Data in Small Icon

• List:

Show Value and Data in List

• Detail:

Show Value and Data in Detail

• Status Bar:

Toggle on/off Status Bar

• Tool Bar:

Toggle on/off Tool Bar

Tools:

• Record Current Registry:

Record Current Registry

• Compare to Last Recorded Registry:

Compare to Last Recorded Registry, then present a change list to allow users to restore those changes
