FileNotes integrates with Windows Explorer, letting you attach notes to any file, folder or shortcut.
FileNotes integrates into Windows to let you add text notes to files, folders, or shortcuts. You can view the first line or two of each note in Windows Explorer, and right-click on any file to view the full note. In "File Open" or "File Save As" dialogs, files with associated notes are specially tagged.

FileNotes makes sure that the notes stay attached when you move, copy or rename files. And when you save a file in any application, you can easily attach a note.

FileNotes comes with the FileNotes Explorer, a stand alone utility that provides the ability to view and maintain your file system notes and quickly identify objects that have associated notes.
