EditPlus (formerly known as Edit++) is Internet-ready, 
full-featured 32-bit text editor for Windows 95/98 and 
NT 4.0.  It is not only a good replacement for Notepad, 
but also it has much more powerful features for web-page 
authors and programmers. Features include seamless 
browser window, customizable syntax highlighting, HTML 
Toolbar, document selector, user-defined tools, help files 
and macros, Cliptext window, document template, 
auto-completion, handle large files, powerful undo/redo, 
word-wrap, showing line number, drag-n-drop editing, 
powerful search and replace, customizable and dockable 
flat-looking toolbar, monitor clipboard, keyboard macro, 
spell checker, customizable hotkeys, splitter window, 
and more.

Internet-ready 

  EditPlus provides seamless browser window (requires IE 3 or 
  higher), so you can easily preview HTML files or Java 
  applets without leaving the editor.

Syntax highlighting 

  Customizable syntax highlighting feature is available for 
  HTML, C/C++, Perl and Java.  It can be extended to support 
  other languages too.

HTML Toolbar 

  EditPlus provides HTML Toolbar which allows quick and easy 
  access to most frequently-used HTML tags.

Document Selector 
  Document selector provides extremely quick and easy way 
  to switch between open documents. Also you can categorize 
  favorite documents into Project menu.

User tools

  EditPlus can execute user-defined tools and optionally 
  capture the output. You can also define user help files
  and keyboard macros.

Auto-completion 

  Auto-completion provides quick abbreviation of frequently-
  used phrases. This feature can save typing and allows 
  more efficient editing.

Cliptext window 

  Cliptext window is collection of frequently-used text 
  clips. You can customize cliptext library by simple 
  drag-and-drop.

Document template

  Document template allows quick start for newly created 
  document.
