One of the guests at the Invex-Computer trade fair, who took part in yesterday's Invex-Forum videoconference, is David Drury, vice-president for marketing of the company Fore Systems. The Fair Daily put the following questions to him.
What are the reasons for your visit to Brno?
The main reason for my visit is, of course, the Invex fair. Our partners are exhibiting at the fair and we have recorded an interesting growth in business contacts here. We also see our visit as a good opportunity for expansion in this region. We also meet a lot of our customers here and, last but not least, it is an opportunity for meeting up with representatives of the press.
You took part in the morning Invex Forum videoconference on the application of information technology in the state adminstration. What do you see as the benefit of such an event?
First and foremost it is an opportunity to exchange information with people from all corners of the world. In spite of the distance separating them those taking part can pass their experience on, and learn from how things are done elsewhere in the world. This is its principle benefit for the future.
What are your plans for the rest of your time at Invex?
That's simple. I have a lot of meetings planned with our customers, and we're sure to have a lot to talk about.
