The Lingea Company presents new versions of their Lingea Lexicon English and German translation programs. There are two versions of the programs for both languages: one is a student's dictionary containing 75,000 entries, the other is an unabridged dictionary containing 125,000 entries. The unabridged dictionary, offers a broader professional vocabulary of economics, law and technology. Part of the offer includes a specialized German business dictionary from Franus Publishing with 60,000 entries. Besides synonyms, the vocabulary presents other related words including antonyms, phrasal verbs, collocations, derived words, word stems and meaning groups. With help of the new learning and testing feature it is possible to verify knowledge of vocabulary from a selected thematic range. In addition, you may now listen to the pronunciation of the vocabulary contained within the unabridged and students dictionaries in both English and German versions. As far as smart Wizards are concerned, know that the dictionaries are able to find a word in any form, detect the language automatically and are even able to find the word by its pronunciation. A little remark for notorious miss-spellers: The dictionaries are equipped with an automatic spelling correction function that allows you to find incomplete or miss-spelled words.
