Photogrammetry product ImageStation SSK is the first product which brings the possibilities of powerful photogrammetric technology to the desktop PC. It is a combination of special photogrammetric hardware accessory ImagePipe from the Intergraph Company and a selected set of application software from the popular photogrammetric system ImageStation Z which also comes from Intergraph.

Users already know the functionality of ImageStation SSK from the ImageStation which is now converted onto PC, that at this moment, becomes a digital stereo-plotter, complementing the photogrammetric technology on ImageStation Z. In ImageStation SSK it is possible to create a photogrammetric project, orientate a model, do the stereo projection of data, collect vector data and extract a digital terrain model, including data actualisation. Other features of the product include the on-the-fly epipolar resembling, smooth stereo projection, displaying multiple stereoscopic windows at once and implemented software for real-time JPEG compression and decompression.
