The Digital recorder Voice It VR-5000 produced by similarly named German Company Voice It Worldwide, combines the advantages of recording the voice in a flash memory with the ability to be interconnected and to communicate with a PC.
This device was developed as a substitute for microcassete recorders, the so-called Dictaphones. The installed memory stores a 50 minute recording. Another 50 minutes can be recorded onto an add-on flash card with a capacity of 2 MB. It is possible to edit the recordings with implemented inserting and erasing functions.
An important feature of the device is its ability to transfer all of the recorded data onto a PC. All notes can be further processed on a PC, inserted into other applications or, for example, distributed by electronic mail. The stored data can also be loaded back onto the Dictaphone.
