The competition for the best exhibits at the Invex-Computer trade fair is traditionally held by Fair Agency in association with the trade magazines CAD, CHIP, COMPUTERWORLD, PC WORLD, CHIP WEEK and SOFTWARE NEWS. Exhibitors may enter their exhibits in the competition categories hardware, software, office equipment, telecommunications and services. The exhibits on display will be assessed by an expert jury comprised of the editors-in-chief of the given periodicals. The decisive factors should be the innovative nature and originality of the exhibit, its design, ergonomics, user service and economic parameters, etc. The jury may award as many as twelve Crystal Disks to the competitors, and will deliver its verdict on 8th October 1998 in the Rotunda of Pavilion A. Those taking part will be invited in person to the awards ceremony by the organisers of the competition.
