30-DAY TRIAL VERSION
- The 30-day trail version will allow potential customers to
test drive a fully functional version of Secure4U, with the following enhancements /
constraints:
- The user will not be able to re-install the trial version on
the same machine (PC) after the 30-day time-out.The installation files may be used on a
different PC, however.
- On startup, a dialog box will indicate the number of days
until
expiration. The user must press "Try first" button in order to run the product
without buying during the trial period.
- During or after the 30-day trial period you can buy the
retail version of Secure4U at any time. You need to be connected to the Internet while
completing the registration forms and logged on as Administrator to your computer. Your
copy of Secure4U will be automatically delivered via ESD at the end of the registration
process.
Please read this information before using Secure4U.
Depending of your hardware and other running
applications the trial versions of Secure4U might be up to 30% slower then the registered
versions. This is a result of additional overhead which needs to be handled by your
computer for the ESD wrapper.

Secure4U please send e-mail to: support@acrmain.com

The test suite is currently only
available for ActiveX enabled web browsers (MS Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator with
Plug-in) . A Java version will be available soon.
Within the tests you see:
- Information any web site can simply collect
without your knowledge.
- Hostile and malicious actions like deleting
files, unfriendly changes of your windows and web browser settings, rebooting your
computer and accessing resources over the Internet
- How to take over the control of MS Windows NT
machines (creating an administrator account from the Internet)
