INTERNET4U IN DIGEST
Dear visitor, INTERNET4U (or Siesta on the Net as we call it as well) is very universal in subjects, trying to cover nearly everything that one can find on the web, with a special interest on culture, entertainment, sports, social and art events and last but not least also the latest Internet technologies. Each issue consists of several regular segments: UPLOAD News from the Czech, far from just virtual reality. Covers especially new projects and events anyhow connected with Internet. Once very important to the readers of printed version, as a cognizance what the Internet really is about has been still very poor in general, here in the Czech republic . KALEIDOSCOPE Culture issues and fun stuff: not just the reviews of most interesting sites from around the world. Lot of our own major stories with the regular topics: Movies on Internet, SOS - social events, Crazy Saloon - comics, cartoons etc., Graffiti - Art exhibition, History On-line, -ism on Net - assays about the interesting themes: dianetics, feminism, racialism etc., On the Road - travel reports, music groups and legends and many others: fashion, medicine, catastrophes, holidays, hobbies, leisure time. Here we bring also the regular Short novel mostly by authors that had not been allowed easily published in the past, and a major Cover story, exclusive interview with a famous actress, sportsman, painter etc. BUSINESS VIPages - interviews with Czech and international VIPs mostly from IT market or E-business area, celebrities, How to Start - practical advises how to start doing business on Internet, infos about available services as homebanking, virtual shops, reports from international exhibitions etc. SERVICE Brings latest Internet technologies, reviews of software and hardware novelties, CD-ROMs, practical dictionary of new "net language", regularly innovated schema of the Net providers in Czech Republic etc. INTERNETTO Here you can find hundreds of new classified web sites described shortly by editorial staff. HIGH SOCIETY Short gossips but also serious reports from social life, press conferences, theater firsts nights, art exhibitions. In spite of the rest of the segments updated monthly this one and "The Raisin of the Day" is being updated daily. RAISIN OF THE DAY The hottest issue of the day that had inspired some of the editorial staff to cry or smile. Than they present it as a sweet raisin or the bitter almond extracted from our daily cake. Internet4U has been a Czech web magazine run by IDG Czechoslovakia since June 1996 both in its printed and online versions. Since January 1998 we have left printed form behind and moved exclusively to web. You can still see all former "paper" issues if you click on Archive on the home page.
