Full Throttle - Complete Solution The Morning After Punch your way out of the skip then walk to the bar and kick down the door - who needs keys? Talk to Quohog and when he proves unhelpful grab his nose-ring, then using your returned keys climb on your bike and burn some rubber. As you scream down Highway 9 you’ll encounter a Rottwheeler biker, but just get in close and punch him a couple of times to knock him out of the way. Try to avoid kicking, as it’s not that effective. Your Fixer-Upper You find yourself in a workshop where the owner, Maureen, briefs you on the situation - she will fix your bike if you can find some new forks, a blowtorch and some gas. So pick up the hose and gas can, leave the workshop and talk to Miranda, who you will find reading outside by the fence. When she drives off (cheeky little madam) head towards Todd’s trailer located towards the top left of the map and bang on the door. When he answers kick down the door - this will knock him unconscious. Raid the cabinet located above Todd’s head in order to find a lockpick (look hard, as the lockpick is quite small), and then look in the fridge at the back of the trailer to get some meat. Now stand on the light-coloured rectangle of flooring just below the fridge and you will be lowered into Todd’s underground workshop. Pick up the blowtorch. The game automatically switches back to the workshop, and after giving the blowtorch to Maureen, head towards the gas tower found in the top-right section of the map. Use the lockpick on the padlock, pick up the padlock and then return to the map and enter the scrapyard found to the left of Mo’s. Padlock the rolling doors and climb the chain to access the junkyard, then walk right until you find a guard dog running loose. Put the meat in the blue car nearest to you and wait for the dog to jump in, but be quick about it as the dog will soon come after you. Walk back to the left, heading towards the control centre and climb the ladder, which is only just visible even with your monitor’s brightness up full. From here you can use the magnetic crane to move the blue car - use the left lever to adjust the height, the right to move the position, and the button to activate the magnet. Now pick up the car with the dog and raise the crane as high as it will go. Then proceed to the lamp-lit pile of junk on the first screen and pick up the forks. Go back to the map, head towards the gas tower grounds and touch the ladder, which activates an alarm, then head towards the top-left corner of the screen. Ben will hide behind some barrels as the police land in a hover car and search the tower. Now go to the hover car and unscrew the gas cap. Then insert the hose, place the gas can under the hose and then use your mouth on the hose to siphon off some gas. Hoorah, you’ve managed to fix your bike, so now it’s time to burn some more rubber. Unfortunately there’s a police roadblock on the highway, so head straight to the gas tower and touch the ladder again, thus sounding the alarm and diverting the police from the roadblock. The Accused Go to Maureen’s and search the debris to find a photo, then climb on your bike and head back to the Kickstand bar. Once inside talk to both Quohog and Emmett then leave and walk round to the dumpster where this whole mess began. Here you’ll find Miranda, who’ll give you a fake ID which you can then give to Emmett. He will now take you past the roadblock and on to the Mink Farm. Kung-Fu Fighting Go into the house next to the barn and pick up the pillow. You will find a tyre iron underneath. Use the tyre iron on the chest and pick up the hose then get back to your bike. Maureen screams past and you end up giving chase, whereby you come across Emmett’s crashed lorry. Use the tyre iron on wheels, then push the trailer over with the hand icon. Pick up some of the spilled fertiliser, get back on your bike and head off the top of the screen to the Mink Farm. Once back at Uncle Pete’s you will get chased by Nestor and Bolus, but the car crashes into the fertiliser spill. Use the tyre iron on the car (a small panel above the rear wheel) and inside you will find a hover unit, which you need to attach to your bike. Now head off up Highway 9 towards the Old Mine Road and chat with Father Torque - he has some important clues about the nature of the Old Mine Road and how to defeat its many inhabitants. Use this table for the most effective attack against the bikers: Female with blue cap - Use the tyre iron, fist or feet. Black guy with glasses - Use the tyre iron. Chainsaw lady - Use the fertiliser. Turbo man - Use the chain, but use it quickly before he escapes. Plank man - Use the chainsaw. Mace man - Use the chain, tyre iron or chainsaw. Unarmed Rottwheeler - Use anything. Cavefish - These guys need a plank in the face to knock them off. Using anything else will result in them either self destructing or being out of your reach. You can only smack the Cavefish when they are sitting up, but try not to bash their bikes as they will release oil under your front wheel and you will crash. Just keep your distance and take your time. Taking The Plunge Once the Cavefish are defeated you will receive their goggles, which will enable you to find their secret hideout. Once inside, proceed to the left, where you will find Ricky Myron’s ramp. Grab the ramp twice - the second time Ben will attach it to his bike - and head off to the right. On the next screen, dismount the bike and grab the ramp twice again - this knocks the cat’s-eyes off the road and will cause the Cavefish to crash. Attach the ramp to the bike again and head left out of the cave. You can now jump the gorge. Watership Down Once you’ve made the jump and ended up in Corville, head down the screen towards the gift stall, where you will meet Horrace. Talk to him for a bit then pick up the joystick and play with the toy car until the batteries run out. Then look at the T-shirts, and Ben will ask if they are Extra Large. While Horrace’s back is turned, grab the toy bunny and leg it back to your bike. Ride left and follow the road sign to the Vulture’s minefield and then use the bunny in the dirt. Wait for the bunny to trundle off and after its valiant sacrifice pick up the battery that is thrown clear and then use the battery in the toy car back at Horrace’s shop. Now use the joystick to drive the car off the right of the screen, and into the Demolition Derby turnstiles. Horrace will now give chase, leaving you free to steal a box of bunnies from the counter. You can now take these to the minefield. Use the box with the minefield and then quickly pick up all the bunnies before they wander into danger. Now release one bunny at a time and wait until it explodes; when it does, walk to the bunny’s last location and release another bunny until you reach the Vulture’s hideout - it takes about five bunnies if done correctly. When you get to the hideout you will be tortured by Suzi, their leader, and Mo. In order to escape, you need to convince Mo that you are the good guy, so answer her questions with the following replies: ‘Stop this or else...’ ‘I’ll call you names.’ ‘Diapered Dynamo.’ Demolition Derby Now that you’re free, you can set about organising a devious plan involving the Demolition Derby. To get the Vulture’s plan to work, drive your car to the far-left of the arena and drive off the ramp. Then push the stalled brown car to the bottom- right of the arena and up over the smaller ramp on the right-hand side of the screen, then follow it off, allowing the plan to be completed. After a short cut scene you will be trapped by Bolus and Nestor. Run onto the top of the brown car and then dash towards the exit. The blue car will chase you back and when it does, run from the roof of the brown car onto the blue one. Now wait until the blue car nears the edge of the arena and then run towards the door, causing you to accidentally set fire to the arena’s walls. The Truth Is Out There Back at the Vulture’s hideout talk to Mo to find out about a secret passage at the back of the Corley Factory. Before going there, however, look at the motorbike parts and write down all the identity numbers (some are hidden by shaded panels so click everywhere before continuing) then proceed to the Corley Factory. Look at the meters and then walk slightly to the right (see the picture below) and kick the wall when the meters stop clicking. If you’ve done this correctly, the hatch to the right of the screen should open, giving you access to the Corley Factory. Once inside Corley’s office use the floor safe located in front of the desk and punch in the code you wrote down earlier - 154492. Grab the items inside and then leave the office via the door on the right. In the hall use the card on the card reader and enter the projector room, then after the cut scene look at the projector and flick the left switch down and the right switch to the top, thus breaking the film that Ripburger is watching. Head outside again and through the door to the left of the projection room, then put the photographs on the easel and the reel of tape on the machine, and sit back and watch as Ripburger is exposed for the villain he really is. He now makes a hasty exit! Ripburger’s Revenge This section requires expert timing, so be quick. After the lengthy cut scene you find yourself precariously hanging onto the front of a speeding truck. First open the panel just below the truck’s windscreen and then, as Ripburger tries to close it, quickly grab his cane. Now open the engine hatch and shove the cane into the fan, whereby Ben hastily climbs into the engine compartment itself. When Ben emerges behind the cockpit use the tyre iron with the fuel line on the far-right, then sit back and watch another cut scene. When Ripburger destroys the controls and you regain control of Ben, climb up the ladder and click on the monitor in the cockpit. Now click on the following selections in this order: ‘Take-off’ ‘Post Take-off’ ‘Gear’ ‘Raise Gear’ Watch the next cut scene and then get ready for some quick thinking if you want to finish this section in one piece. Ripburger is now left hanging by his jacket, so climb up into the truck’s cab and use the computer monitor to turn off the machine guns by choosing the following: ‘Menu’ ‘Defences’ ‘Machine Guns’ ‘Control’ ‘System Off’ With Ripburger dead and splatteds, quickly head back into the plane and walk to the left of the screen. Here you will find your bike (if you just run to the right of the screen or dilly-dally trying to put out the fire, the plane explodes). Climb onto your bike and ride to freedom. Now sit back and watch the great end-of-game sequence. Pity the game itself was so short...
