How do I fix the alchemy machine?

You will need to place the pieces in the correct spots to operate this
machine.

Hint 2 of 8:

There are three tiles that can be used in the center.

Hint 3 of 8:

Start with the tile that only fits one way.

Hint 4 of 8:

Notice the piece that has a blue wire without rivets. Place it on the north
position.

Hint 5 of 8:

One piece has a pink wire that loops around with connectors side by side. Put
it in the southeast position.

Hint 6 of 8:

One piece has each wire looping back so that each color has 2 side by side
pieces.  This one goes in the southwest position.

Hint 7 of 8:

The one with the green wire going straight through the center should be
placed at the west position.
