I can't open the revolver box!

You need to use the box while you're in the captain's cabin.

You may have to use it and then right click to escape using a few times.

Eventually, it will give you a zoomed-in look at the box.

If you look at the box, you will see that you can move it different ways.

You can rotate it left, right, or down, and can look at the middle, top or
bottom.

If you look at the box in various ways, you'll probably figure out how to 
open it.

If that doesn't work for you, be warned that the next clues give the exact
solution.
