Canadian Grand Prix - Montreal Circuit Gilles Villeneuve - 69 Laps There's always a great atmosphere at Montreal, an average length circuit with just enough variation in the long straights to keep it from being too fast. Perhaps the best overtaking point is the wide Pits Hairpin which, like much of the track, is very hard on brakes. High fuel consumption, a bumpy track, and poor grip, due to dirty tarmac, all contribute to Montreal's high retirement rate.
