GENERAL INTRODUCTION. PC RALLY is an entertainment program based in the rallies competitions. Pilots as Carlos Sainz and his copilot Luis Moya has contributed with their successes in the worldwide championship to increase the public liking in general toward this sport. Now, with PC RALLY it is possible fully enjoy this competition thanks to the care used in achieving their multiple options and the realism of their graphic and movements, that will enjoy through the circuit included in this shareware version. (In the full version you'll get three different rallies every one with ten circuits, besides phases of training, modify the cars to pleasure of the user, and the possibility of playing circuits separately, as the more characteristic options of this full version). 2. BASE REQUIREMENTS The requirements for the operation of PC RALLY are the following: - PC 386 - Standard VGA graphic card - Hard disk with at least 5 Mb of free space. - 3'5 high density floppy drive (1'44 Mb) - Recomendable to have a disk cache SMARTDRV or similar loaded. - Recomendable a Sound Blaster card or Gravis. - it is advisable the selection of menues with mouse. - MS-DOS 3.0 or higher (recomendable 6.0 +) 3. INSTALLATION AND DEINSTALLATION. Installation. In order to accomplish the process of installation easily, decompress the distributed file in a directory to your election. You will have to dispose of the compress program ARJ, and type: ARJ x -y PCRALLY Deinstallation. Simply delete the directory where you have installed the program, and his content. 4. RUNNING THE PROGRAM. Go to the directory where PC RALLY was installed, typing from the unit of hard disk where it's installed the program for example: CD \PCRALLY Type now "RALLY" and the program will be executed. The application doesn't require mouse in order to operate, but it is advisable at the moment of selecting between the different options. 5. MAIN MENU. As soon as the program is loaded the game allows to go to the main menu. From this screen it is possible select among the different choices the program offers. 1) Training. Not available in shareware version. 2) Run track. It is possible to choose just the first sector of first circuit of this menu. 3) Start rally. Just available in full version. 4) Configure. If you want to select controls (keyboard or joystick), or activate /deactivate the sound, choose configure. 5) Back to DOS. Allows to return to the operating system when we decide to conclude our session with PC RALLY. Keyboard. If we decide to use the keyboard like control option, the default keys to use during the race will be: Accelerate Deccelerate Turn left
