This document describes how to support Platform for Internet Content Selection (PICS) ratings on the Microsoft® Windows® platform. It is intended for Internet Content Providers (ICPs) and programmers who are developing Web authoring tools. PICS is a W3C group chartered to define a standard for the creation of rating systems and rating information. Microsoft views PICS as the best direction for solving the problems with minors accessing adult content on the Internet.
