What is stationery?

With Outlook Express Stationery, you can create unique and appealing messages for both e-mail and newsgroup postings. Stationery can include a background image, unique text fonts, your personal Business Card, and any text or file you want to add as a signature.

A Business Card is your contact information from the Address Book in vCard format. The vCard format makes the information readable on any type of computer or digital device. Outlook Express creates the Business Card when you select that option as part of your stationery signature.

You can also choose whether your Business Card and/or signature appear on all outgoing messages or on individual messages only.
