To send an encrypted and/or digitally signed message

Before you can encrypt a message to someone, you must have his or her digital ID in your address book.

• In the New Message window, click the Encryption button on the toolbar to encrypt the message using the recipient's digital ID.

• To sign the message with your digital ID, click the Digitally sign message button on the toolbar.

Note

• You can also automatically encrypt and/or digitally sign all outgoing messages.
