The Designer

The Designer allows you to visually design the windows, dialog boxes, and components in your application.

With the Designer you can:

• Resize the form to the size needed for normal display.
  
  
• Add components to the form.
  
  
• Lock components so that they cannot be moved within the designer.
  
  
• Double-click on a component or the form to create an event handler for the form's or component's default event.
  
  
• Set properties on the form to change its display position, size, caption buttons, and MDI client state.
  
  
• Align and size components based on the form or other components on the form.
  
  
• Create menus for the form.
