To Specify an Object's Response to an Event
To specify how an object responds to an event, you enter a Micrografx QuickSilver
command (or list of commands) as the "value" of the
event.
- Select the object in your Designer drawing.
- On the Object menu, click Properties. The Object Properties
dialog box opens.
- Click the QuickSilver Events tab.

- Click the event you want to define (for example, OnMouseEnter).
- Click Paste Verb. A list of command verbs appears.
- Click the verb you want
(for example, ObjectColor). The
verb appears in the Action box.
- Type a space and the verb parameter (for example, red).
Not all verbs require parameters.

- Click Close.
In this example, when the user moves the mouse
pointer over this object, the object changes to a red color.
