FAXmaker for Exchange 5.0 - June 1997 Release

--------- UNATTENDED CLIENT INSTALLATION -----------------------

The FAXmaker unattended install will allow you to install the FAXmaker client with the default options without any input from the user.

To run a unattended Client installation some files have to be copied to the FAXmaker client directory first.

Before copying these files, a backup of the files (with the same name) found in the client directories must be created in a seperate directory. Should an attended installation be required these backup files must be recopied to the Client installation directories.

The files must be copied in the following way:

for a Win31 installation the following files must be copied from the directory ..\Install\sms\win31 to the directory ..\Install\win31:
Setup.ins
_setup.lib
Setup.bmp
Setup.ini

for a Win95 installation the following files must be copied from the directory ..\Install\sms\win95 to the directory ..\Install\win95:
Setup.ins
_setup.lib
Setup.bmp
Setup.ini
Disk1.id

for a WinNT 3.51 installation the following files must be copied from the directory ..\Install\sms\winNT to the directory ..\Install\winNT\WinNt351:
Setup.ins
_setup.lib
Setup.bmp
Setup.ini
Disk1.id

for a WinNT 4 installation the following files must be copied from the directory ..\Install\sms\winNT to the directory ..\Install\winNt\WinNT4:
Setup.ins
_setup.lib
Setup.bmp
Setup.ini
Disk1.id

After copying the required files the unattended install can be carried out by running setup.exe.
