INSTALLATION GUIDELINES

Under Windows:
-------------
   Run Setup.exe in program manager RUN command or Run
   Setup  in Dos.  Setup is  Windows full installation
   utility. Setup program will  copy all the necessary
   files to  destination directory. Setup  will create
   FastScan Icons in Program manager Window.

   Supports Command Line execution under windows...

   FSCAN.EXE <file/directory>


Under DOS:
----------
   Run FSCAN.EXE in DOS prompt directly.
   Syntax:     FSCAN <Drive Name> < -e [-a] >

   The  switch -e  stands for  scan only  executables.
   Switch  -a is  default switch  stands for  scan all
   files.

SCANNING METHODS:
------------------

   Make  a  copy  of  bootable  floppy  and  copy  all
   Fastscan files to that floppy. This will be helpful
   when  your system  boot sector  or partition  table
   infected, you can boot your system with that floppy
   and you scan for virus in <A> prompt using FSCAN.

1. Under DOS Run FSCAN.exe

2.  Under  windows,  Click  Fastscan  icon  and select
appropriate drive and click <scan> button.
