Installing the 30 day time trial of the NetWare Web Server The NetWare Web Server requires that the TCPIP NLM be loaded and configured on your NetWare Server. The NetWare Web Server requires NetWare 4.1. 1. Create a directory on your NetWare file server, for example: sys:webinst 2. Copy the file WEB30DAY.EXE into this directory. 3. From this directory, type the command: WEB30DAY.EXE -D 4. From the NetWare console, load the Install NLM by typing: LOAD INSTALL 5. Select Product options from the menu. 6. Select "Install a product not listed" 7. Press F3 and type in the name of the path, for example: sys:\webinst\disk1 if you used the directory name as in the example in step 1 (make sure you remove the "a:\" before typing in the new path). 8. Follow the installation screen instructions. The NetWare Web Server will automatically load after installation is complete. Please refer to the online help contained within the NetWare Web Server administration tool. This Windows-based tool can be found in your server's public directory and is named; WEBMGR.EXE. Please also refer to the README.TXT file within the DISK1 directory for more information on installation and configuration. For optimal performace, set your maximum packet receive buffers on your NetWare server to 1000 by typing the following at the server console prompt: SET MAXIMUM PACKET RECEIVE BUFFERS = 1000 When installing the commercial product, please remember to save any custom HTML files you have created.
