View F3, Shift + F3
This command displays the contents of a file on the screen.
The view screen is superimposed over the main Commander
screen (to see a view within a panel, select Quick view in
 the Left or Right menu).

The Commander can display a number of popular database,
spreadsheet, and word processor files in their native
format, as well as .pcx graphics files.

   Notes:
. You can create and maintain the extension file called
VCVIEW.EXT, which associates editors with file
extensions. Use the Viewer... item in the Options
        menu to do it.

. In general, you can use the cursor, PgUp, PgDn, Home,
and End keys to move through files. In addition, you
can use the gray + and - keys on the numeric keypad
to change fields in the database views.

. Pressing Shift + F3, or holding down the Shift key as
you select this menu item, brings up a dialog box
into which you can type the name of the file you want
        to view:

            +----------------- View ------------------+
            | View the file: |
            | _ |
            +-----------------------------------------+
