[About The Guide]
Re-read a panel Control + R
This option allows you to re-read the information in a panel.
The following lists the information re-read for different
panels, and mentions why you might want to use this option:
Full/Brief: Re-read the directory. This is useful when
you're looking at a floppy-disk drive and you
change the disk in the drive.
Info: Re-read the disk information and DIRINFO file.
Tree: Re-scan the disk. The Commander normally
keeps the directory information in a file
called \treeinfo.ncd for fast access. If you
use the DOS mkdir or rmdir commands, or if
another program creates or removes a
directory, you can use this option to update
the tree.
Note: Control + R will re-read the active panel.
