Getting Started with Lotus BeanMachine

Saving and testing your applet

Now is a good time to go ahead and save your applet. After you've saved it, you can test it by pressing the Run button on the main toolbar. After a brief pause, the AppletViewer window will appear and display the running applet you just created. Click the button and try out your animation. When you're done testing your applet, close the AppletViewer window. It's a good idea to close the AppletViewer window each time after you test your applet before you begin editing again.
We'll talk a little later about publishing your applet for use on the Internet, but next we'll add a few other parts and get into some really interesting connections.
