Modifying BeanMachine's preferences


Let's configure your preferences so you can test the URL Link to BeanMachine's home page in your web browser. From the Options pull-down menu, select Preferences. Under the Applets tab, click the Find button next to the browser or viewer field and specify the complete path for Netscape Navigator^TM or Microsoft Internet Explorer^TM. When you're done, click the OK button.

Now, run your applet again. This time it will launch the web browser you just chose instead of the AppletViewer, and the URL Link to BeanMachine's home page will be active and working. Go ahead, try it out.
