Viewing details about a job

You can choose to view more details for a job. Viewing details is especially useful for backup jobs. For any backup job, you can get a list of the sessions that were created on tape (one for each job submitted) and a list of files backed up for each session.

Audrey ran a backup job that included her local host and a remote client. She wants to use the job list to verify that her home directory was included in the backup session of her host.

To view details for a job:

  1. Highlight the job you want to view.

  2. Click the View Record button.

    The View Job Record dialog box appears:

  3. Click the Sessions button to see a list of sessions for this job.

  4. Select a session then click Files to see a list of files that were backed up with this session.
