Node Options

You can set node options for any host that you are including in a backup job. When used, Node Options apply to the entire UNIX host or client.

You can only access remote hosts and clients if you have purchased and installed the appropriate Agent software.

Make sure you do not collapse the Remote Hosts branch if you are applying options to a remote host. You will lose all option settings for these nodes if you do.


Following are the basic steps for setting node options for a backup job:

  1. Place the cursor over the node you want to apply options to.

  2. Click the right mouse button.

    Make sure the cursor is over the node you are specifying options for.

  3. Select Node Options.

    There are two different Node Options windows. The one you will see will depend upon whether you are setting node options for a server or client.
