Cancelling Auto Pilot jobs

Depending on whether or not you want to cancel or delete a regularly scheduled Auto Pilot job or a make-up job, and whether or not the job is ACTIVE or READY in the queue, different rules apply.

For regular AP jobs:
If you cancel or delete an ACTIVE regularly scheduled Auto Pilot job, and you have set the option to automatically reschedule missed targets (or the backup is a Weekly or a Monthly backup), the job converts to a make-up job. If you haven't set the option to automatically reschedule missed targets, the job reschedules for the next regularly scheduled day and time.
If you delete a READY regularly scheduled Auto Pilot job, the job is deleted from the queue. Make sure this is what you really want to do, because you will have to recreate the set if you accidentally delete an Auto Pilot job with a READY status from the queue.
To save the job, it must be saved as a script, otherwise it can not be retored.
For make-up jobs:
If you cancel or delete an ACTIVE Auto Pilot make-up job, the job reschedules for one hour later, as another make-up job.
If you delete a READY make-up job, the job reverts to the next regularly scheduled Auto Pilot job.
