• slot number (where the tape is, or, if it's loaded, where it came from)

• name of the tape

• ID number of the tape

• sequence number of the tape

• if this tape is loaded and, if it is, in which tape drive

• whether the tape is write protected

To get information about a tape:

1. Get to the Changer Device Management window.

   See ``Accessing the Changer Device Management options'', which details the steps to get you here.

   The information in the Tape Information area is for the changer that is currently selected.
