Licensing and Configuring the SCO ARCserve/Open Changer Option

Specifically, this chapter describes:

• licensing the Changer Option

• setting up the Changer Option, including:
  • configuring your changer for use with SCO ARCserve/Open

  • modifying changer group names

  • using the tapesvr.cfg file

• have installed and deactivated SCO ARCserve/Open (run astop)

• know the SCSI IDs of the tape drive(s) in your changer, as well as the ``picker's'' ID
