About the SCO ARCserve/Open Client Agents for UNIX Installation Guide

The Client Agents for UNIX^® allow SCO^® ARCserve/Open^® to back up and restore your various UNIX systems over the network.

Client Agents are provided for the following UNIX platforms:

• UnixWare^® 7 and SCO UnixWare Release 1.x and 2.x

• SCO OpenServer Release 5

• SCO^® Release 3

• HP-UX^® 9.0x and 10.0x

• IBM^® AIX 3.2.x and 4.1.x

• Silicon Graphics^® IRIX

• Solaris^® SPARC^® 2.x/x86 2.4

• SunSoft SunOS 4.1.3

This documentation explains how to install the Client Agents on your UNIX systems and how to get started using the Client Agents.

NOTE: To use a Client Agent installed on a remote system, you must be running the full SCO ARCserve/Open product and you must have successfully added your SCO ARCserve/Open Client Connection licenses. See the SCO ARCserve/Open Release and Installation Notes for information on how to do this.
